Pulse Art Fare this Saturday

Threebproductions is hosting the Pulse Art Fare on Saturday the 28th of August at the Exeter Phoenix Art Centre.

The fare will feature 12 artists from around the country with work ranging from fine art, sculpture, illustration and design....
Threebproductions aim is to support up and coming artists in this difficult economic time by offering a space in the fare commission free. In addition to this, all profits made will go directly to the artists themselves.

The event (weather permitting) will take place on the terrace of the Exeter Phoenix, where alongside the artist stalls there will also be live music. The fare will run from 2pm-6pm. (If it does rain, the fare will be held in the café/bar)

This is a great opportunity to come and see an eclectic collection of new exciting work by artists from across the country, a place to buy original pieces and a chance to support the artistic community.
So please come along on Saturday the 28th of August to the Exeter Phoenix Art Centre from between 2pm-6pm and enjoy a great selection of art work!

Welcome to Alternative Southwest!

Welcome to Alt-Sw.com

What is Alt-Sw.com?
Alt-Sw stands for Alternative Southwest. We are creating a new community for local musicians, film makers and photographers to give them a place to host and showcase their work and a site to discuss their ideas with other creative people.

The film and photography sections will come later, but first we want to introduce musicians to our free mp3 hosting.

Artists are able to upload their tracks, add a biography and set up a blog for all visitors to see. The tracks with the most downloads and plays will be featured on the monthly Alt-Sw chart show on Phonic FM, Exeter's community radio station (tbc). Hopefully the first show should be broadcast in April 2010.

So to get started click the 'New Artist account' button on the right hand side menu.
