background / biography
Rosie Eade plays lively and evocative life inspired songs of her own, interspersed with carefully chosen traditional songs, all arranged around her love of folk, rock and thrashing her old nylon strung guitar until it groans in delight.
Complimented by the Irish World for her first performance in the Cambridge Folk Festival club tent back in 2002, Rosie has gone on to play folk clubs and festivals all over the country, from the very first Spanfest in July '07, after headlining Ely Folk Festival with folk-rock band Hedgepig in June, to Rochester Sweeps, GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL, Beautiful Days and Burnham Folk Festival in 2009!.
